Summertime Jewelry Designs

I love unique jewelry. I love unique anything, really. I also love to create unique jewelry. Lately, I have been doing a lot of that. My aching hands are proof.

I’d like to share with you my most recent piece. I’d like to be all fancy and come up with a name for it, but I’ve not thought of one yet. Do you have any suggestions? I’m considering Tatiana Rose, since I made it for Tatiana’s new shop.

This piece is made entirely from crochet thread. I crocheted each piece, played with the design, then assembled it. I wore it a bit yesterday to see how well it wore. I ended up adding a button to the end to keep it from slipping off.

There’s a lot of necklace there, but since it is made of very lightweight cotton thread, it weighs next to nothing around your neck. You’ll almost forget it’s there until you get complimented on it, which is sure to happen.

This is definitely a statement piece that pairs nicely with a simple tank or a pretty sundress in the summer. I actually love this one so much that I’m going to have a hard time parting with it. I love how beautifully the colors work together.

Now it’s your turn. I would love to hear what you think of it and if I should design more necklaces like this one. 🙂

Happy Crafting!!
Casey 🙂
